On Nuclear Energy
Twitter survey and sentiment
HIGH PRICES, ROLLING OUTAGES?
Not in Chicago!
Our plants sell their power to us customers at a flat rate for the next few years, way below the high prices we're seeing on the market. We get a credit on our bills every month from any nuclear profits above about $50 per MWh.

FOUR NUCLEAR REACTORS have been closed near Algonquin route since Sept. 2018: one each at Oyster Creek & Pilgrim, two at Indian Point.
They would've avoided burning 530 million cf of gas to produce 81GWh of electricity every day.
At these prices? $400m for January, rising fast httpp

New England opposed natural gas pipelines and shut down nuclear. If you live in New England, I suggest you pick up a wool blanket or two. In the war between platitudes and physics, physics is undefeated.
